This morning I went for a massage and I thought: why don’t I share with you the places I like to go for a massage in Toronto. We’re not just here to talk about visa papers, we can also talk about how to relax and take some time for yourself. Here are 4 institutes where I went and had a good experience. I will note for each one if they offer a massage eligible for benefits but for information the massage must be given by a registered massage therapist (RMT).

Novo Spa

This spa was recommended to me by a friend several years ago and I really wasn’t disappointed. She recommended that I make an appointment with Assia, except that that week there was no availability (are all these details necessary? Not sure, but I’m happy to share my story with you!) and I chose to have a massage with Gina! I loved it and since then I have rescheduled several times and I recommend her with great pleasure. I choose a “therapeutic” massage and then you can choose different duration options.

Please note that prices vary between weekends and weekdays.

Caudalie Spa

The Caudalie Spa opened its doors 2 years ago in the heart of Yorkville. I went there when they opened out of curiosity since I really like the products. Then I went back for several events afterwards and I finally took the plunge and went for a massage. I chose a palpé roulé, which was done by a lovely French masseuse. I really liked the massage (even if we agree that the palpé roulé doesn’t feel good on the spot, it’s good for the body!)

Health One

I was lucky enough to be invited to the opening of their practice near Union Station: a revelation. Minoo Mosallaeizadeh’s massages are on another level. I have been back several times since and it is always a pleasure. Plus she gives you tips at the end and some exercises to relieve you at home. Little more: this practice offers several services, you can also consult Jessica Bonzon who is a very good French osteopath!

Blitz Spa

For my birthday my boyfriend gave me a treatment package at Blitz Spa, when I talked about it everyone told me that I was going to have a great time there. The spa is for women only, the big difference with other recommendations is that here when you book a massage you have access to the different baths, the steam room and the sauna 90 mins before. I went to the one located on Adelaide Street, the place is really hot.

I will add recommendations as I find them.
